Introduction To The Artist

Geoff Woolston graduated from Manchester College of Art & Design and has had a career in Graphic Art spanning 30 years; specialising in watercolour illustration and portraiture.

He has had work commissioned by international London based advertising agencies, and work published both in European and British Illustrator's Annuals.

As well as work being reproduced within advertisements, on record covers, book covers and in editorial publications; his work is in private collections. Geoff also teaches watercolour painting to student classes.

Geoff Woolston uses a colour wash overlay technique inspired by studying the works of Renaissance artists.

However, it is the work of the famous American artist Norman Rockwell that has been the greatest influence on Geoff Woolston's style and subject matter.

Of the many of Geoff Woolston's limited edition prints, includes a commemorative print of the Queen's Golden Jubilee visit to Beverley Racecourse - 'The Winning Post'
